Sydell done a great thing by getting together with the top players, friends and association heads to hold an event for Rhonda in her fight against Breast Cancer. $1650 was raised to help her medical bills which have piled up in her fight against the nationally known disease. Through it all, Cinda Y. and Evette A. defeated Bernice and Theresa in the female side in an action packed final, as George and Joe beat out the twin towers Jason and PhatKat on the mens side. The tournament was promoted by Handballcity.com and www.nychandball.com. ICHA President Paul Williams helped with the trophies, SAHA CEO Dwight Worley helped referee and many Dori brought Cancer Society pamphlets and gear to help raise funds and awareness for the disease. Sydell was pleased and Rhonda displayed tears of joy at the outcome. |
