There are now new ways for us to market our sport. Handball is increasingly becoming a marketable sport. We have our own identity and bring life into our city and neighborhoods. We have something to offer, but we need alot of help to make that happen. These magazines have been brought out to help showcase our sport. The NBA, NFL, MLB and others all get their money from corporate sponsors. We should be as compensated as they are. Sadly, most of our prize money from
tournaments is made up by the same people who play the games. We use our 9-5 money to play the sport and then make up prize money just the same. I am waiting for the day when we can see big cash prizes given out just for being the talents that we are and providing the city, spectators and others a forum to showcase our skills. That is what OOHA strives for and hopefully this magazine will help us achieve that. Both mini-mags will consist of the professional coverage that other sports already have. We need to make the world take notice of what we have to sell and that is our unique game and skill involved to play it. Why not join us in making handball the sport of the future.
